Teriyaki Steak Tacos

The concept here is simple: We all love teriyaki, steak, and tacos. Why not combine all of the above in one dish?

A teriyaki marinade takes all of one minute to whip up, and is so much better and lighter on the palette than the bottled stuff. When you pair that blend of sweet and savory we all know and love with a spicy mayo and cool mirin slaw you have one of the most perfect bites of food.

Togarashi Fried Chicken, Ginger Scallion Waffles, and Miso Butter

I feel like anyone who’s followed me for a while had to have known that a chicken and waffles recipe was coming eventually. How could it not? I consider chicken and waffles to be the ultimate not only brunch, but possibly southern dish as well. You have your salty, sweet, crispy, soft, and juicy all in one plate.

Bacon Ramen

I have an intense love of ramen that dates back to when I was in middle school. I was sleeping over at my best friend’s house and for lunch her mom made us grilled cheese and chicken flavored instant ramen, or as they referred to it, ray-man noodles. I later learned that ray-man is not widely accepted as canonical pronunciation of ramen noodles, but I digress. I had a period of about two or three years after that where I would always force my mom to keep maruchan in the house because I was that about it. I was obsessed to the point of complete burnout.
